Oughtibridge Gala Sports Night
Wednesday 20th June 2012 - 6:30pm
Sports Night is a fun night for any child who likes to race and a serious competition for running enthusiasts.
During the evening, there will be soft drinks, sweets and ices for sale, and we hope to be entertained by Oughtibridge Brass Band.
Childrens Events
Children's events start at 6.30pm. Children of all ages are invited to take part in a variety of races -egg and spoon, running, skipping, obstacle etc.
Races will be divided into SCHOOL YEAR GROUPS, so listen out for your call.
If you want to join in with a race, you MUST be wearing appropriate footwear - eg, trainers or plimsolls, and sensible clothing, if the Stewards feel that you are unsuitably dressed you will not be allowed to take part for your own and other's safety. Rosettes will be presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in all races.

Seniors
Juniors
The Chase commences in Coronation Park, proceeds uphill by road to Whancliffe Woods, loops through the woods and finishes back in the Park. The distance is approximately 6km with 180m of ascent. The Junior Chase is approximately 3km with 100m of ascent. The event is held under UK Athletics Rules, Trail Running Association Permit Number TRA/112-11.

Please register on Sports Night from 6:30 onwards. The Chase will start at 7.30.
